Not really relevant about who does or doesn't work there this ain't the thread for that and price wise, think with the discount there not far off.

Hi all
Keith has been speaking to Nigel about this group buy and organising the prices etc with him. He keeps checking in on this thread to see how it is progressing but just letting Nigel do all the talking as it is his group buy (hope you don't mind Nigel). Keith has come on here today to find this post by Big Deano and I am quite shocked to be honest. We don't think who does or doesn't work here has got anything to do with a decent member trying to organise a group buy on some air filters and wheel nuts. If you have a problem with somebody, perhaps you should take that up with that person and not badmouth Revolution because of something that has nothing to do with us. For the record, Doug has not worked for us since Feb the 13th and from what I hear work was carried out on your car when he worked at another Company and it was after hours and had nothing to do with us whatsoever. With regards to our prices, we monitor our competitors' prices on a daily basis to try and give the best possible prices AND SERVICE on all of the parts/labour we can. Yeah, we might be a few quid more expensive than the guy on Ebay who works from his bedroom who is in this game for a quick buck and will move onto the next thing in 6 months time with no shop but we offer good prices and good service, warranty & after sales back-up. We have been involved with this club since just about day 1 and have many many happy customers who come back to us time and time again. We now export to over 50 countries world-wide and they keep coming back for more. No matter where you live or how little or large your budget we always give the best service and price. If any members find any product we sell at a cheaper price please, please get in touch and we'll do our best to beat it. We also invest our profits back into the industry (unlike our competitors) and have spent a lot of time, money and debt in our new HQ, a new website (just-subaru.com) and staff training to give customers a better place to shop. Some people prefer to buy online only and are purely driven by price - we accept that everyone is different. However, you must ask yourself a couple of questions before you save that couple of quid on your next purchase: 1 - Does the supplier actually have a direct account with the manufacturers to ensure your warranty (should there be one) get sorted out as fast as possible. Or does he buy it on ebay himself and trade it onto you at a profit. 2 - Are the products your buying come from a UK sourced trading arm - for example Tein is brought in by a few companies from overseas......no warranty applies. 3 - If there is a problem can you take the goods back to a store and speak to the person who you purchased from who is a real enthusiast. Have you tried sending a set of wheels back mail-order without a courier account - cost is around £30 per wheels and tyre. 4 - Do these so called cheaper places actually have technicians who work in a clean & well prepared workshop environment. 5 - Does any of our competitors have any training from the manufacturers to give you the correct product knowledge when you make your enquiry. 6 - Do these companies pay tax, vat, N.I. and have premises to pay for plus a team of 11 staff to run an efficient service that our customers deserve. We've took on two extra staff over the last 12 mths so we must be doing something correct. 7 - I work 80 hrs minimum per week often in Saturdays & Sundays and Bank Holidays to make sure I'm running efficiently as possible. What would you prefer I sell up move to a tiny unit and only sell online and ebay. Now that would be progress - the metro-centre would not exist if we all shopped online, we would all be shopping at out-door markets and in our living rooms online.....'cos its cheap! On top of all of this we offer a price match g/tee - but we will not sell at a loss as we are here to stay in business and that's why we've been in business since 1997. I have seen us price match some wheel companies on a deal that makes us £10 on a £1,500 sale, plus free fitting - if that's not a good all round service, i don't know what it? Finally, we were very proud to be nominated by the industry then voted on by customers for the Retailer of the Year award by a famous industry magazine. Surprise surprise - we won it!!!......thanks for those of you that voted. Hopefully the info above helps members understand what we stand for and how we are different to the competition. Sorry if you feel the way say you do but it just seems to me that you have got an axe to grind with Doug. If you'd had any work done by a reputable company like ourselves the work would have been fully g/teed and we would have fixed it free of charge. i didnt mean to affend anyone i was told on saturday he still works for you the problem i had was if people buy and have stuff fitted at revolution and he is fitting it hes a liability in every sense of the word and a bad representation for any company.. i really didnt mean to be rude or upset anyone and if i did i apologise just there are a LOT of people who have had poblems with him and i was planning on coming to possibly buy some wheels and as soon as i heard that idiot worked for your company i refused to buy a bolt there im not the only one by the way there are at least 8 people who have had stuff done by him that has gone wrong because of his cowboy idiotic attitude towards peoples pride and joys again i didnt mean to offend anyone but the twat really gets on my tits and id be more than willing to buy sum goodies now i know hes not there anymore so ill be up for it and again sorry and good luck

I'm not a fan of eBay or any sort of operation like that and have in my last ten years in the Subaru scene read and heard so many stories of people by cheap stuff and thinking it does the same job I've been on retailing for 27 years with board level management and purchasing and importing many lines from abroad and know that there Is not a product that can't be made cheaper as there is so many small factories in the far east all clambering from the buisness that europe and USA generates eventually the quality goes down so much to get the price down that the product breaks simple as , and of course as glen mentioned the bedroom retailers who wait on an order placed and paid for then order it themseves from a supplier hoping to make a tenner on it all the forums are full of stories of long delays faulty products and dissatisfied customers then the little man gives up and sells something totally different Ask yourself how many complaints to you get against proper companies like Revolution none because they sell a quality product at a great price and with service there is lots of truth in the buy cheap buy twice And of course you forget the price in a few years time but the quality is always there good buisnesses like glens get better and last while the eBay boys disapear when problems start
